Sumit Israni
Raised in his father’s salon, Sumit Israni discovered early how skilled hairdressing could shape both appearance and confidence. After training with L’Oréal in London and Paris, he built a career working with celebrities, diplomats, designers and leading beauty brands.
Under his leadership, the family salon established in Green Park in 1989 has grown into a network of more than 200 salons across 50+ cities. He has introduced global partnerships, advanced services and stronger training standards while keeping personalised care central to the brand.
Through Geetanjali Academy, he continues to mentor beauty professionals and build a culture rooted in creativity, discipline and continuous learning. His work has received industry recognition and was featured in a BBC documentary with L’Oréal Professionnel.
Beginning his career as a passionate hair artist, Mr. Israni has spent decades pushing the boundaries of creativity, innovation, and excellence. Under his leadership, Geetanjali Salon has evolved from a trusted salon brand into one of India’s leading beauty and lifestyle destinations where exceptional service, design, wellness, and fashion come together to create a truly elevated client experience.
